Merdley "Jerry" Sonnier Allen, 82, of Port Neches,Texas passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at her residence.
Jerry was born to Donat and Dozia LeFluer Sonnier on July 9, 1927 in Oberlin, Louisiana. She lived in Port Neches since 1951 and was a member of First Baptist Church in Port Neches.
Funeral service will be at Broussard's in Nederland.
Graveside service will be at Trout Creek Cemetery near Call, Texas.
Jerry was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Willie B. Allen, Jr. of Port Neches; daughter, Kim Sonia Allen of Beaumont; sons, Benny Craig Allen of Westminister, Maryland, Allen Dale Eaves of Call and Kevin Bill Allen of Port Neches; sister, Bertha Schumacher of Beaumont; grandchildren, Andrew Allen, Cody Ann Robinson, James Eaves, Melissa Eaves, Amy Eaves, Justin Eaves, April Stonebreaker, Jeremy Jensen and Anders Jensen; and thirteen great grandchildren.
