Anna, wife of William Higdon, 115 E. Bronson street, died at Epworth hospital late yesterday, following an illness of two weeks brought on by nervous prostration. She was 47 years old and had resided in South Bend two years, coming to the city from Cincinnati, O.
The husband, two children, William Higdon, jr., South Bend, and Mrs. Sarah Nunemaker, South Bend, and five brothers and sisters survive. The latter are as follows: D. H. Higdon and W. R. Higdon, South Bend; A. L. Higdon, New York; A. R. Higdon, Los Angeles, Cal., and Mrs. Charles Shepard, New Haven, Conn.
A short funeral service will be held at the residence, East Tutt street, at 8 o'clock this evening, Rev. Arthur H. DeLong officiating. The body will be shipped to Cincinnati for burial tomorrow. Interment will be in Springrove [sic] cemetery, Cincinnati, tomorrow.
