Arthur, Wilbur, and Louis Reithmeyer, sons of Mr. & Mrs. J. Henry Reithmeyer of Chamois were drowned in Baileys creek near their home late Saturday evening. The young men's ages were 29, 17, and 15 years respectively.
Their deaths were attributed to going into the water too soon after eating. The young men could not swim and fell into one of the step offs washed in the creek by the recent rains. The creek is ordinarily shallow. It was reported that another brother narrowly escaped death in trying to rescue the three.
Besides their parents the young men are survived by two brothers and two sisters.
