Lee was the son of William Gregson & Alice Dixon. He married Katherine Braun (daughter of George Braun & Katherine Johnson) and they had two children: Estella & Pearl.

Note: His tombstone shows he was born 1869, however, the church records show that Lee was 41 years, 8 months and 9 days old at the time of his death so he would have been born Abt. 14 Sep 1867. Also, his baptism record indicates he was baptized 17 Nov 1867 and born on 14 Sep 1867.
