CAMDEN — Services for Cynthia Sue "Texas Tornado" Smith Peek, 46, Camden, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Cree Funeral Home. She died at 4:14 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2007, in her residence. Born Jan. 14, 1961, in Amarillo, Texas, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Betty Louelle Shaw Smith. She was married Dec. 18, 1995, in Delphi, to Floyd Everett "Butch" Peek, who survives. Cynthia attended school in Amarillo, Texas and received her CNA training at Claude, Texas. She was a certified nursing assistant at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi until May 2004. She was a member of Ladies of Harley. Also surviving are her mother and stepfather, Betty and Elmer Mincey, Amarillo, Texas; three daughters, Chanda Hart, Flora, Brittany Vanaman, Amarillo, Texas, and Tosha Bosworth, Kokomo; one son, Scott Hart, Stafford, Va.; two brothers, Kevin Smith and Donald Mincey, both of Amarillo, Texas; one sister, Cheryl Adams, Amarillo, Texas; four grandchildren; three nephews; and four nieces. One grandson, Cagney Hart, preceded in death. The Rev. Alvin Grumbling will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Camden Cemetery.
