Calvin married his love, Rosemary Bukowski, in 1949.
Calvin passed on at his home on May 13, 2010, surrounded by those who love him.
He lived a full and happy life and loved to share his memories with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. He was, and is still, loved by many people. He touched the hearts and minds of all who had the pleasure of knowing him or even shared a few minutes with him.
He has many friends and is adored by his family. His everyday enthusiasm for life would be termed as "Spit-fire." Never giving up, he always believed in showing, by example, that the impossible could be done. All the while doing it with his eyes bright and a smile ready at his lips.
Surviving him are his children, Martha Jordan and Chris Jordan (spouse, Cindy Jordan); his grandchildren, Matthew Hogstad and Laura Wentworth (spouse, Karma Wentworth); great-grandchild, Tristin Wentworth; and his brother, Ray Jordan (spouse, Helen Jordan).
Preceding him in death were his beloved wife, Rosemary Jordan; and cherished friend, Sharon Miller.
He was and still is an inspiration to all who spent time with him. We can all be assured that many were there to greet him at his time of passing. He will be missed and never forgotten. We take comfort in knowing that we will no doubt see him again on our own journey forward.
We have chosen, as the family, to wear brightly colored attire to honor Cal's love of life. We request that those attending the service, if comfortable, do the same.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 39 View Vista Drive, Livingston, with burial service to follow in Calvary Cemetery, also in Livingston. All who wish to celebrate Cal's life are welcome.
Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service; www.dokkennelson.com.
