and was a member of Azalea Baptist Church.
Cecil is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann Stone; one daughter, Gayle
Swift and husband Donald of Chesapeake; three sons, Maury Stone and wife
Maureen, Paul Stone and wife Donna and Gary Stone and wife Tammy, all of
Chesapeake; 11 grandchildren, Adam and Aaron Swift, Amy Jordan and husband Dane
and Andrew, Steven, Jeffrey, Brock, Kasey, Jamie, Allyson and Garrison Stone;
two great-granddaughters, Alexis and Olivia Jordan; and his sister, Shirley
Harris and husband Ira of Roanoke.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive
Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in
Azalea Baptist Church by Pastor John Moxley. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn
Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Azalea Baptist Church or the American Heart
Association.
