Shenay Christina Greenough, 19, passed away on May 8, 2010, in Pasco, WA. Shenay was born to her mother Christina Sullivan and her father Dave Greenough on August 24, 1990 at Kennewick General Hospital in Kennewick, WA. Shenay is survived by her mother Christina Sullivan; father Dave Greenough; and her son Ayden Greenough; her grandmother, Betty Greenough; and numerous cousins on both mother‘s and father's sides. She was loved very much by all of her cousins and was very close to them. She was a loving mother to Ayden Greenough, 22 months old. He was her pride and joy. She was expecting the arrival of her daughter, Kyana in June 2010. She loved to sing and play with her son Ayden. He was just beginning to talk and he was so much fun to watch as he learned to walk and talk. She was the much loved, only child to her mother and father. To her mother, Shenay was her whole life. Christina raised her from infancy to young adulthood as a single mother and watched her grow into the most beautiful young woman who had vivacious energy. She never wanted to stop moving, she always wanted to be with her friends and try new things. She had the personality of a very outspoken, independent young woman. She always loved to try new things and go to new places. She was absolutely fearless in any endeavor she decided she wanted to do. Shenay spent a year and a half in West Virginia with her father, Dave. She was able to get to know all her cousins there and gained the experience of living in a new environment. She was enrolled in school in West Virginia for a short period of time before she returned home to Washington with her father. She resided with his mother, her grandmother, Betty Greenough for approximately one year. She then moved back in with her mother Christina Sullivan. At the age of high school she enrolled in Tri-Tech Skills Center in Kennewick, WA and was starting classes in their nursing program. She wanted very much to become a nurse. Unfortunately she was unable to finish the program because she was very close to giving birth to her son Ayden. She then went on to become a full time mother to her son. Fourteen months later she found that she was expecting a baby girl and was very much looking forward to having a second child. She lived with her mother during these last months of her life. Ayden became his grandmother's world; he is loved so much by her. It was the most wonderful time in Christina's life having her daughter and her grandson in her home. Even though her father didn't reside in the same state as Shenay, she was his world as well also his only child… He loves her dearly. He would stay in touch with Shenay and was here for the birth of his grandson Ayden. It was a momentous time in his life because his only child had his first grandson. He was very much looking forward to meeting his new granddaughter. He will miss his baby girl so very much.

She was a victim of homicide. Shenay was expecting baby Kyana in June.
