Valerie married the love of her life, Stephen Morgan, on June 22, 1963. They had four boys: Steve Jr., Shawn, Scott and Spencer. Valerie's life's work was raising her boys and being a loving wife. She enjoyed fishing and camping but, even more, being with her family and friends. Valerie was loved by everyone she met. She was a social person with a sense of humor, although she often forgot the punch lines to her jokes.
Valerie is survived by husband, Steve Sr.; her sons, Steve Jr. and wife, Carmen and their children, Skylar, Mikayla, Elle, and Trey, Shawn and his children, Krystal and Jordan; along with great-granddaughter, Zoey and fiancé, Adrianne; Scott and wife, Lisa and their children, Kylie and Evan, and Spencer and wife, Julie and their daughter, Kennley.
She is also survived by two sisters, Patricia and Martha, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome to come celebrate Valerie's life at her memorial service at Eternal Hills on Thursday, May 20 at 2 p.m. The family believes Valerie's character can be best described with these words: innocent, positive, vibrant, cheerful, loving, uplifting, kind, hopeful and God-loving.
