Obituary
Mrs. Nina Meredith Dotson, 80, of Star Route, West Union, died Thursday, Oct. 31, in a hospital at Alexandria, VA. A daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Taggart Meredith, she was born Jan. 5, 1894, at Sancho, Tyler County, WV. Her husband, Audry Dotson, died in 1966.
Survivors include: one son, Fred Dotson of Alexandria, VA; four daughters, Mrs. Clarice Cross and Mrs. Norma Martin, both of Alexandria, VA, Mrs. Mattie Flint of Annandale, VA, and Mrs. Pauline Gilmer of Springfield, VA; one sister, Mrs. Alda McCullough of Pennsboro; two brothers, Earl Meredith of Sistersville and William Meredith of Bearsville; 10 grand-children, and four great-grandchildren. Two sons, two sisters, and one brother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dotson was a member of the Arnold's Creek Christian Church.
Services were held Monday, Nov. 4, at Alma, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Durwood Poling officiating. Interment was in the Masonic Cemetery, West Union.
