Obituary:
WILLIAMSBURG - It becomes our sad duty to report the death and burial of one of our oldest residents of the town, Mrs. Maria Eddelblute. She was suddenly stricken with paralysis on Friday morning of last week, and remained unconscious until Saturday morning, when death came to her relief. Mrs. Eddelblute was aged 78 years and 6 months. She was for many years a member of the Lutheran church and did a consistent member of same. Some years ago, during the severe illness of her husband, the writer called at their home, and was very favorably impressed by a conversation with the deceased. She leaves to mourn the loss of a mother, two daughters and one son, Mrs. Samuel Hilins, of Williamsburg, with whom she has made her home for several years, Mrs. Sarah Wareham, of Kansas, and Mr. John Eddelblute, of Huntingdon, Pa., all of whom were present at the funeral. The funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Samuel Hilins on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, by Rev. B. R. M. Sheeder, assisted by Rev. J. C. Kelly, pastor of the Presbyterian church.
