NEWVILLE - Abram Spencer Allen, 68, of Broad Street died yesterday in Hershey
Medical Center.

He was a retired railroad foreman at the Navy Ships Parts Control Center,
Hampden Twp.; a World War II veteran and a member of the Military Order of the
Purple Heart, Newville First Church of God, and VFW Post 6070. He was a member
and past master of Big Spring Lodge 361 F&AM.

Surviving are his wife, Frances J. Allen; two daughters, Jana K. Lay and Avis
S., and two sons, Spencer R. and Jon S., all of Newville; and four
grandchildren.

Services will be held at 7: 30 p.m. Monday in his church. Burial will be at the
convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church, Newville 17241, or to Big
Spring Lodge 361 F&AM, P.O. Box 26, Newville 17241.
