My Uncle
My uncle Baldomero was born in Nochistlan, Zacatecas, Mexico to Tiburcio Ibarra and Amada Sandoval.
Baldomero was my dad's younger brother. He lived in Nochistlan, Zacatecas, Mexico most of his life.
My uncle would come and live with us off and on while we were growing up in Arizona. He would get a work visa and come and work with my dad for a few months, and then go back to Mexico.
He was married to Petra Juaregue, a very sweet, kind woman. They had seven children that I know of. About 1970, the family moved to California, to be near us. My dad was so happy to have his brother living near him.
After my uncle retired from his job, he went back to Nochistlan, to live. He died there in 1991 and is also buried there, his wife is buried in California. His wife Petra died while they were still living in California.
I will always remember my uncle Baldomero, he was always kind to me.
