Irven Anderson, 320 S. Third Avenue, died Tuesday at his home. He died May 5, 1981 at the age of 80 years, 1 month, and 28 days. He was born in Neodesha, Kansas and worked as a clerk for the Burlington Railroad at Lafontaine, Kansas, until 1924 when he moved to Lyons, South Dakota. He moved to Sioux Falls in 1942 and was employed by L & L Motor, until retiring in 1972. He married Helen Fanelle November 2, 1944. Irven was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife Helen; two sons, Ronald, Gillette, Wyoming and Larry of Sioux Falls. Two grandchildren Kyle and Maureen and two sisters, Mrs. Forest Bradfield of Ohatchee, Alabama and Mrs. Alice Schlieman of Colton, South Dakota and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Howard; and one sister, Helen.
Services will be 11 A.M. Friday at George Boom Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Internment at Hills of Rest Memorial Park, Sioux Falls, South Dakota
