William Bailey Dies at 88 in Canton
William (Jack) Bailey, brother of the late George H. Bailey, died in Canton Tuesday, September 13, at 1:15 p.m. follwing a three day illness.
Funeral services will be held at the Cowling-Sedgeman Funeral Home today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. The Rev. Vernon Wagar will officiate and burial will be in Brownhelm Cemetery.
Mr. Bailey, who has been away from Lorain County for 35 years, was born in Lincolnshire, England, in July 15, 1861. He came to America at the age of seven.
Surviving Mr. Bailey are nine nices and nephews.

Oberlin - William J. "Jack" Bailey, 88, former Oberlin resident, died at 1:15 p.m. yesterday at his home in Canton following a three-day illiness.
Born July 15, 1861 in Lincolnshire, England, he came to the United States at the age of seven. He lived many years in Lorain-co but moved 35 years ago to Canton.
A brother of the later George H. Bailey, he is survived by nine nices and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Colwing-Sedgeman Funeral home with Rev., Vernon W. Wager officiating. Burial will be in Browhnhelm Cemetery.
