Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Jean Lollar of Kilmichael are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, at Kilmichael Baptist Church in Kilmichael with burial following in the Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael. Rev. Gary Jackson will officiate the services.
A visitation will be held at Kilmichael Baptist Church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Mrs. Lollar died of heart failure on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Winona Manor in Winona. She was 83 years old.
Mrs. Lollar was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James E. Palmertree and the widow of the late Juanell Dwight Lollar. She was a caregiver and a member of Kilmichael Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Juanita Morgan and her husband, Marvell, of Kilmichael; sons, Gary Lollar and his wife, Linda, of Sanford, FL, and Marty Lollar of Kilmichael; six grandchildren, Juanda Swanson (Phillip) of Duck Hill, Debbie Stafford (Jeffrey) of Kilmichael, Stacy Morgan of Wesson, Sherry Moseley (Andrew) of Brentwood, TN, Teresa Wallace (John) of Franklin, TN, Gary Lollar, Jr., (Felisha) of Nashville, TN; and nine great-grandchildren, Erika and Rex Bingham, Mary Morgan Stafford, Phil and Morgan Swanson, Carter and Claire Wallace, and Landon and Alexander Lollar.
Pallbearers will be James Harrison, Charles Austin, Lenis Pearson, Bobby Howell, Lamar Ellis, Tommy Rushing, and David Eldridge.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kilmichael Baptist Church, P. O. Box 142, Kilmichael, MS 39747; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
