Anna Kathryn Gulde was born Sept. 9, 1935 to Joseph F. Gulde Sr and Anna L Ayres Gulde. Anna Kathryn had two brothers, William and Joseph "Bud", and three sisters, Josephine, Marjory "Red" and Barbara. One other brother passed away as an infant.
Born in Rushville, she lived there her entire life until she married Leslie Eugene "Gene" Cole on April 26, 1957. The couple lived on a farm near Carthage. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at Knightstown.
They had three children:
Scott, Bruce and Sheila.
Anna Kathryn passed away on Friday morning, June 23, 1961, in Rush Memorial Hospital of complications following surgery. Funeral services were on the following Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rushville with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Rushville, Indiana.
