Ellen 'Dee' Barr
Ellen "Dee" Barr, 66, died Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a resident of Bargersville.
She was born Feb. 15, 1938, in Evansville. Her parents were John J. and Mary (Fuquay) Cacia. She married Ned Barr on July 1, 1961. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Chris and Vince Barr; a brother, John Cacia; a sister, Jan Cacia; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Rosato.
She graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
She was employed by L.S. Ayres for 15 years, retiring in 1992.
She was a member of Banta United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Bill Van Horn will conduct a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Banta United Methodist Church, 7575 Old State Road 37 North in Martinsville. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be at IOOF Cemetery in Martinsville. Cremation Society of Indiana is handling arrangements.
