She was born on August 20, 1914 at Aly, the daughter of James J. Smith and Caroline Lee Smith.
She was the widow of Guy Swaim who preceded her in death on Aug.13,1980. She was also preceded in death by two sons,Joe Swaim and Larry Swaim. She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Jim Swaim of Mt.Pine and Fred Swaim of Benton. Seven grandchildren,six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Dec.1 in the Concord Baptist Church at Aly.
