Julie Anne Hurst Lee was born June 12, 1966 in Frankfurt, Germany and resided in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a brief illness. Julie worked for many years as a nurses aide. Julie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Perry Odis Hurst of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and grandparents Severo and Juliana Jamie of LaPorte, Texas. She is survived by her grandmother, Geraldine Hurst of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; her husband, David Lee of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; her father Sonny Hurst and stepmother Sandy of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; her mother, Rosie Taylor and stepfather Hershal of Texas City, Texas; her brother, Scott Hurst and wife Tessi of LaPorte, Texas; her sister, Monica Wylie of Texas City, Texas; her brother, Carlos Hurst and wife Bobbie of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; her sister, Jaime Sanchez and husband Roland of Pasadena, Texas; her sister, Hannah Hurst of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; her sister, Sarah Hurst of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; her step-brothers, Jonathan Bowersmith, Shannon, Rodney and Shane Taylor; six nieces and six nephews and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services for Julie will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the Apostolic House of Prayer of Henryetta with Reverend Scott Randall officiating. Interment will follow in the Sonora Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Aaron Hurst, Jonathan Bowersmith, David Lee, Ted Sullins, Roland Sanchez, and Mikel Hurst. Honorary Casketbearers will be Roy Gonzales and Pat Jaime.
