Married Agnes Elaine Weimar on 1 Jan 1955 in Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, South Dakota.
Montegue Parsons served as 'interim' chief of police in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in the early 1930's. During that time, Baby Face Nelson robbed the bank in Sioux Falls and Parsons was sent to fly in a plane as part of the search for Nelson. He did not get the job as permanent chief of police, but was a long serving detective on the force. His grandson remembered as a child that he used to take him down to city hall and the jail once in a while. It is believe he retired from the force in the late 50's or early 60's.
