Emily Ann (Mullins) Armstrong, 80, of Overland Park, Kansas, died on February 3, 2003 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She was born on September 30, 1922 in Kansas City, Kansas to Ira "Sam" and Frances Mullins. She graduated from Shawnee Mission High School and attended Johnson County College. She worked for Trans World Airlines (TWA) for forty-three years, retiring in January 1986. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Santa Fe Trail Post 846, Dwight Cowles American Legion Post 370, Elks Does, Up with People International, TWA Heart of America Seniors, an honorary member of the TWA Clipped Wings and attended John Knox Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Armstrong; and brother, Keith Mullins. She is survived by two nieces, two great-nephews, and sister-in-law.
