LUTHER P. FAULKINBERRY SERVICES HELD SUNDAY
Funeral rites were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Baptist Church at Scott in Caddo County, for Luther P. Faulkinberry, former Canadian County resident who died Thursday at his home in Gustine, Texas of a heart attack.
Born May, 1902 in Fannin County, Texas Faulkinberry was a former Mustang and Cogar resident and had lived in Gustine for only about six months.
He was a World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Ruth, at the home; two children, Donald Ray and Reba Kay, also at home; two brothers, Leonard of Oklahoma City and Freeman of Minco; and three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Pounds, Anadarko, Mrs. Alva Trout, Minco and Mrs. Norman Trout, Odessa Texas.
The Rev. Bill Freezon officiated at the services and burial in Bible cemetery near Scott.
