A native of South Norfolk, Va., he was retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service and was a veteran of the Korean conflict.
Survivors include two sisters, Gladys Jean Bollinger of Hickory, N.C., and Mildred Ward of Wildwood, N.J.; and four brothers, John T. Boyce of Virginia Beach, Thornton Ray Boyce of Atlanta, Ga., Benjamin B. Boyce of Brigham City, Utah, and Jack Leon Boyce of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at the residence at other times.
