John Grossell, 84, Fountain City, Dead
Fountain City, Wis.-(special)-

Funeral services will be held Friday for John F. Grossell, 84, pioneer resident of Fountain City, who died at his home Tuesday night.

He was born on a farm in Milton township, the son of Joseph and Mary Grossell, August 21, 1858. He was unmarried and spent his entire life here.

He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Louisa Bechly and Mrs. Sarah Giverson of Durand; Mrs. Joseph (Theresia) Rothering of Cochrane, and Mrs. John (Celestine) Hohman of Waumandee, and five brothers, Andrew of Milton township, Charles, Deer River, Minn., William, Edward and Henry of Fountain City. Two brothers and one sister are dead.

Services will be held at St. Mary's church at 9 a.m. Friday and will be conducted by the Rev. C. A. Fries. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
