Clinton, Aug. 12--William F. Colvard, 68, died here Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Holbert, 100 Sloan street, after several moths of declining health. He was a native of Georgia but had made his home in Clinton for 16 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, J. T. Colvard of Laurens; and four daughter, Mrs. O. M. Holbert, Mrs. Clyde Laney and Mrs. Lucille Waters of Clinton amd Mrs. Pearl Atkins of Warrington, Ga; two brothers, Jessie J. Colvard of Chester and David Colvard of Jefferson, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hammond of Abbeville, Mrs. Della Beggs of Belton, and Mrs. Mollie Bends of Chester.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon from the First Baptist Church..Beauregard street, by the Rev. Fred Rowe, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Brewer. Interment will follow in Lydia Mill cemetery.
