Dean Funeral. Funeral services for William Franklin Dean, 84, of Bridgewater, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday from the Lindsey Funeral Home where the members of the family will receive friends this evening from 7:30 until 8:30.
Relatives, friends, and pallbearers will meet at the funeral chapel at 3:15 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Dean was born on Aug. 10, 1880 in the Goods Mill section of Rockingham County. He later made his home in Harrisonburg for a number of years prior to moving to Bridgewater eight years ago. He was a retired plasterer.
His wife, the former Gurney Elizabeth Davis, died in 1931.
He is survived by five children William Arthur and Cecil Davis Dean, both of Harrisonburg; Mrs. Evelyn Rodeffer of Penn Laird; Mrs. Virginia DeRosa of Wheeling, W.Va.; Mrs. Ruby Campbell of Bridgewater; and two step-children, John Landis of Baltimore; and Mrs. Lottie Hottinger of Harrisonburg. He also leaves 20 grandchildren; and one brother, James H. Dean of Mt. Crawford.
