Final Rites Saturday for Mrs. J.A.P. Luke
Final rites for Mrs. Jamima Patience Luke, 74, were held at 2 o'clock Saturday, Feb 1, 1964 at Mt. Parron Church, with Elder Ashley Griffin officiating. Interment was in the Barrineau Swilley cemetery.
Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased.
Mrs. Luke, native of Coffee County, passed away Friday, January 31, 1964 at Irwin County Hospital. A daughter of Micajah and Patience Luke Harper, she was born August 2, 1889.
Survivors include her husband, J. A. P. Luke of Alapaha; a brother, Johnnie Harper of Ocilla and a sister Mrs. Mary Dallas Rowe of Florida; and 9 grandchildren.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
