Mrs. Winford Webber

Mrs. Leona E. Webber, 70, of 26 Prince St., Coventry, died yesterday at her home. She has been a resident of Coventry for 40 years.

Born May 25, 1892, at Castle Hill, Maine, a daughter of the late, Rufus and Lillian (Rockwell) Porter, she was the wife of Winford L. Webber. She was a member of the Lend-A-Hand Circle, Kings Daughters.

Besides her husband, she is survived by six daughters, Mrs. J. Roland Sargent of North Scituate, Mrs. Norman B. Hopkins, Mrs. I. Kenneth Campbell, Mrs. Arline P. Bentley, Mrs. Woodford C. Flanigan, all of Coventry, and Mrs. David P. Foster of Rochester, N.Y.; three sons, Kenneth E. Porter, Marvin S. Webber, both of Coventry and Carl L. Webber of West Warwick; a brother, Nelson R. Porter of Skowhegan, Maine; a sister, Mrs. Jerry Johnson of Coventry; 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Frank R. Gorton Funeral Home, 721 Washington St., Anthony. Burial will be in the Mapleroot Cemetery, Coventry.
