Entered the Army late in 1942. Eventually served in Patton's Third Army. Made Master Sgt. in 7 months.

HOWARD A. CROUCH SR., 75, Wekiva Cove Road, Longwood, died Tuesday, March 9. Mr. Crouch was a director for labor and employee relations. Born in Moundsville, W.Va., he moved to Central Florida in 1980. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sweetwater. He was a 32-degree Mason. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Survivors: wife, Erma I.; son, Howard A. Jr., Red Hook, N.Y.; two grandchildren. Baldwin-Fairchild Semoran-Forest City Chapel.
