Services for Helen I. Blinn, 98, formerly of Walton, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

She died at 2:01 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005, in Sycamore Village Nursing Home, Kokomo.

Born May 16, 1906, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Charles B. and Jessie Williams Hathaway. She was married May 28, 1924, in Logansport, to Louis H. Babb, who preceded in death. She was married in Walton to Paul G. Blinn, who also preceded in death.

Mrs. Blinn was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Walton American Legion Post #418 Auxiliary, War Mothers, Walton Christian Church and Walton Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are two sons, Gerald L. "Jerry" Babb and his wife, Kathryn, Syracuse, and Larry L. Babb and his wife, Nancy, Kokomo; one stepson, Jack Blinn and his wife, Rosie, Walton; one stepdaughter, Marilyn Winters, Walton; one daughter-in-law, Rita Babb, Kokomo; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren.

One son, Richard Babb, and one sister, Dorothy Fields, preceded in death.

The Rev. Ken Marsh will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Walton IOOF Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Walton Christian Church Building Fund.
