Antoine [sic Antone] Walker Tannehill, 77, of Hattiesburg, Miss., and native of Winnfield, passed away at Methodist Hospital in Hattiesburg Saturday, August 10, 1974.

A member of First Presbyterian Church in Hattiesburg, Mr. Tannehill was a veteran of World War I, member of the Sons of the American Revolution of Louisiana, graduate of Soule College of New Orleans, retired five years ago after 39 years with Lighting Fixture and Electronics Supply Co., of New Orleans.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Hattiesburg with Rev. Edward Johnson officiating. Interment was at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Cemetery in Little Rock, Ark.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Wyman Tannehill; four sons, Dr. A. W. Tannehill, Jr., Tupelo, Miss., Dr. John F. Tannehill, New Orleans, Hugh L. Tannehill, Atlanta, Ga., Richard W. Tannehill, Hudson, Ohio.

Eight sisters, Mrs. Rufus Walsh of Winnfield, Miss Estelle Tannehill of Winnfield, Mrs. Lena Pace of Alexandria, Mrs. May Hardtner of Alexandria, Mrs. Nevin McKinney of Alexandria, Mrs. Dee Johnson of Lake Charles, Mrs. Nancy Robbins of Hot Springs, Ark., Mrs. Vivian Fort, Beaumont, Texas; two brothers, F. M. Tannehill of Kerrville, Texas., Murphy A. Tannehill, Urania, La.
