Mrs. Edna Bush dies early today

Mrs. Edna Bush, 70, wife of Berry Bush, of 922 South Land St., Harrisburg, who for over 50 years was a resident of the Walnut Grove community, died in Doctor's Hospital at 7:40 a.m. today. She had been ill for several years but seriously ill the past two weeks.
She was the daughter of the late G. B. and Sarah Barger Lauderdale and was born in Pope County on July 16, 1900. She was married to Mr. Bush on Aug. 19, 1917. She was a member of the Saline Ridge Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four children, Mrs. Harry (Vivian) Threet, Highland, Ind., Mrs. Harry (Ruth) Stone, Griffin, Ind., Mrs. Robert (Mary Cathern) McClusky of Avon and Nolan E. Bush, Fulton, Mo.; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A son, Berry Bush Jr. and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Gaskins Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Harry Garrett, the Rev. Robert Blackman and the Rev. John Saylor will officiate. Burial will be in Saline Ridge Cemetery.
