Mr. King was a member of the B. of L. F. & E. and the Masonic Lodge of Minden, La.
Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Alwin Stokes, Rev. H. H. McBride, and Rev. Harvey B. Hysell. Interment was in the Jena [Nolley] Cemetery. A Masonic service was held at the cemetery by the Winnfield and Jena Lodges.
Surviving Mr. King are his wife and three daughters, Mildred, Nancy Anne, and Shirley; two brothers, A. F. King, of Shreveport, and J. B. King, of Monroe; and two sisters, Mrs. M. M. Ward of Jena and Mrs. A. M. Shelton of Waterproof.
