COOKEVILLE – Funeral services for Jackie Terrell "Bud" Gentry, 30, of Cookeville will be held Wednesday, August 10, at 11 a.m. in the chaple of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Crest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Gentry was dead on arrival at Cookeville General Hospital Sunday, August 7, 1994.
Son of Jackie Lee Gentry and Marie Smith Gentry, both of Cookeville, he was born March 20, 1964 in Putnam County.
Mr. Gentry was a mechanic.
In addition to his parents, his family includes one step brother, Billy Ferguson of Cookeville; three sisters,
Machelle Gentry Warts, Karen Allen and Lorri Norris, all of Cookeville; one half sister, Jenny Dailey of Livingston; one step sister, Shelia Judd of Cookeville; maternal grandfather, John Smith of Cookeville and paternal greatgrandfather, Icie Loftis of Algood, a niece and several nephews.
Mr. Gentry was preceded in death by his grandmother, Vallie Smith.
