Fausett Muir

"Grandma Dean"

WALLSBURG, UT- Family and friends are deeply saddened and lonely following the departure of Grandma Dean on May 7th, 2010 after suffering a stroke.

LaDean was born Nov. 23, 1932 to Whitmore and Grace Fausett. Married Merlin Blaine Swasey in January 1952. He died in July 1953. Married Max Muir July 1955.

She was the core of her family, the go to girl. The one who held us all together. She enjoyed her back porch, reading, camping, fishing and four-wheeling. She loved traveling with her daughter especially to the Oregon coast. They explored new places and even getting lost was an adventure for them.

Barely getting by without her are children Ann and Michael Klonizos, Mike and Susan Muir, Steve and Joanne Muir, six grandchildren, five great grand children, one brother and three sisters. LaDean also had many nieces and nephews who were like her own children. Thank you Grandma for always being there, you live on in all you've touched.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2010 - 11:00 A.M. in the Wallsburg LDS church, 494 W Main Canyon Rd, Wallsburg. Friends may call on Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main, Heber City, and on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. prior to the services at the LDS Church. Interment will follow the services in the Wallsburg Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family atwww.olpinhoopes.com
