Brig Gen Harry Biddulph CB CMG DSO
Colonel Harry Biddulph was the son of General Sir Robert Biddulph and Sophia Lambert. He married Constance Emily Smith, daughter of Rowland Smith and Constance Henrietta Sophia Louisa Somerset, on 13 January 1904. He died aged 79.
Colonel Harry Biddulph gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers. He fought in the First World War. He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.
He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.
He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1927.
He was Director of the Works and Buildings, Air Ministry in 1928.
He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1929
His son MICHAEL ANTHONY BIDDULPH, was killed in the war.
