Melanie ROBERT dit Lafontaine, daughter of Benoni Robert dit Lafontaine & his first wife, Mary Farrell, was born ca October 1837, in Beloeil, Vercheres Co., Quebec. She was sometimes called "Melina".
Melanie married in Beloeil, 17 November 1856, Alexandre HEBERT dit LAMBERT. Present were Adolphe, brother of the groom; Benoni Robert named Lafontaine, father of the bride; Toussaint Brodeur, who with the groom did not sign. The bride did sign. Priest was E. Durocher.

Melina was buried in St Joseph Cemetery, Fitchburg with her husband, Alexandre HEBERT- LAMBERT, in the MORIN plot. There is a tall monument on the plot, with Alexandre's name included, but her name was not on it. ( July 1996)
