Josephine McCoig Baxter was born July 2, 1918 and passed away November 1, 1995, at Jefferson County Nursing Home. Her husband, Ben, preceded her in death. She was born to Otha and Ida McCoig, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by brothers Andrew and Mikey. Josephine is survived by her sister, Sarah (Rex) Fox, son George (Vivian) Baxter, son Terry (Leeann) Baxer, two grandchildren, Elaine McBride and Benjamin Baxter, two great-grandchildren, Victoria and Caleb McBride, and several nieces and nephews and other family members.
