Mr. William G. Telfer of Garrattsville, died at the Clark Nursing Home, Richfield Springs February 3, after a long illness. Mr. Telfer was born June 24, 1876 in Burlington, only child of Thomas and Ida (Ackerman) Telfer, and lived there for 50 years before coming to Garrattsville, in 1927, when he purchased the Whitford farm. He had lived since that time save for about three years in Edmeston. On January 14, 1896, Mr. Telfer married Emmer Simmons of Edmeston, who survives with three children; Mrs. Margaret Winters of Garrattsville, Mrs. Leta Goodier of Morris and Frank Telfer of Richfield Springs. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Stephen and Richard Winters of Garrattsville and Elwyn Goodier of Morris; and three great grandchildren, Stephanie, Timmy and Cindy Winters of Garrattsville ...
