Goldie E. Flint, 89, 234 E. Washington St., Sandusky, died early Monday morning in the Providence Care Center after a long illness.
She was born in Vickery, Ohio and with her late husband had operated the Ruel Flint Plumbing and Heating Co. for more than 40 years, retiring in 1970. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church and was a member and Past Most Excellent Chief of Zone Temple No. 86, Pythian Sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ned A. (Sharon) Bromm, Sandusky; four grandchildren, one great-grandson, Neice, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruel A, in 1983; one daughter, Carleen Miller, in 1978, one grandson Craig Miller; her parents, William and Jennie(Swander) Tibbits; one brother, William; and two half-sisters, Elsie Myers and Orpha Scott.
Friends may call from 10 A.M. until services at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Quick-Park & Nye Funeral Home, 617 Columbus Ave. Sandusky. The Rev. Charles J. Nash of Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
