Mrs Louisa (Booth) Scott passed away at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter Mrs. Harrison Rowe near Vickery after a short illness with black measles. The funeral services which will be private will be held at the home of the daughter Saturday at 2:30 conducted by the Rev. Burris of Vickery. Burial will be in Ellsworth Cemetery.
She was born at Vermillion Nov. 27, 1852, a daughter of John and Maria Booth. On July 25, 1881 she was united in marriage to Charles Scott, the husband who survives.
Surviving also are two daughters, Mrs. Harrison Rowe of Vickery and Mrs. William Rowe of Vickery and two sons Louis Scott of Vickery and Eugene Scott of Monroeville. There are also several grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the house until Saturday noon but the funeral services will be private and friends are requested to omit flowers.
