Died at his residence four miles east of Jerseyville. 70 years old, according to his obit.

In this will he left land and money to nieces and nephews, and what appears to have been friends or other relatives.
NOTE: There was an article in the Alton Daily Telegraph on Jan. 7, 1891, the "Josh" Neely Will case is being prepared for the Supreme Court. Campbell is determined to break it if possible.
