Charles Thomas Moore, 62, 511 Richardson St., East Gadsden, died Thursday at Cherokee County Hospital. Survivors: mother, Mrs. Bertha Cartee, Leesburg. Collier-Butler Funeral Home directing.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Collier-Butler Chapel with the Rev. Bill Harbison officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Other survivors: brothers, Ralph E. Moore, Gadsden, Tommie Scott Moore, Leesburg; sisters, Mrs. Ruth Myles, Indian Head, Md, Mrs. Lou Phillips, Gadsden; several nieces and nephews. Pallbeares: Paul Bearden, R.P. Colvard, Leonard Bernett, Buck Betterton, Tony Reynolds, Louie Pearson, Charlie Reaves. Honorary pallbearers are all personal friends. Mr. Moore was a resident of Gadsden most of his life and was a member of East Gadsden Baptist Church. The body will remain at Collier-Butler parlors through the hour of service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight.
