On July 5, 1888, at his residence, in Clay County, on Flat Creek, Rev Thomas STEWART Bro STEWART was about 80 years of age, was a faithful minister of the gospel, was an ordained minister about 43 years, has baptized and received many belivers into the Baptist church. He has left many children and grandchildren and friends to mourn his death. He died in full triumph of a living faith and was gathered home to bright mansions of bliss to live with the redeemed of the Lord - to sing the song of rich, free and redeeming grace throughout ceaseless and never ending ages.
