Mrs. Angela Farmer "Slim" Woods, age 27, of 5677 Highway 231 in Harrison, Georgia died Wednesday morning May 12 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services for Slim will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 15 in the New Bethel Baptist Church. The Rev. James Veal and Rev. Danny Thomas will officiate with burial in the New Bethel Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Inglett, Brad Riley, Bobby Renfroe, Kyle Woods, Karol Chambers and Jacob Waller.
Mrs. Woods was a life long resident of Washington County. She was a graduate of Washington County High School and attended the Swainsboro Technical College. Mrs. Woods was a beautician for The Hair Palace and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Jonathan D. Woods of Harrison, her mother and father, Jane Hammock Farmer and Donald Farmer of Harrison, her grandmother, Ruth Hammock of Harrison, brother, Eric Farmer and his wife Ashlee of Harrison, a niece, Kinlee Farmer.
The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Friday.
