John Everett Sevier was the son of William E. Sevier (1833-1885) and Lucretia Jane
(Atwell) Sevier (1840-1912). John had the following known siblings:

On January 18, 1882, John married Sarah Jane Summers and they had 4 known children:

Wife Sarah died in 1896. In 1897, John married Mary Elizabeth Johnson. To this

children by his first wife. In 1900, the Sevier family was living in Wayne County,
Missouri. John was a teamster and worked at a saw mill. In 1910 and 1920, they
were living in Macon County, Missouri where John was a carpenter and farmer.
