Vigil service for Lee T. Veltrie, 86, will be Sunday at Hennessey Smith Funeral Home at 7pm. Funeral will be Monday at St. Charles Church at 10am.
Mr. Veltrie, who died Tuesday, was born in Orient, Wash. He worked as a warehouseman at a grocery store.
Mr. Veltrie was happiest in his garden or watching the World Series with a cup of cocoa.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Genny.
Survivors include one son; three daughters; four sisters; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
