Daughter of John Willoughby (1707-1793) and Anna Chamberlain (1712-1773)and sister to my (Maurine's) 4th great-grandmother, Mehitable Willoughby Bates. Rebecca was the spouse of Thomas Nevins (1748-1814) and from this union was born eight children. While her tombstone says 1838 as the death date, I have found two Sons of the American Revolution applications which state it is 1837. It was pretty common for mistakes to be made with dates on tombstones so I have listed the one from the applications. Her husband, Thomas, fought in the Revolutionary War.
