Susie Mae Broadway Swanner, 78, of Route 3 Box 191, Elkmont (Bethel community) died August 27, 1988, at Humana Hospital, Huntsville, AL.
Funeral services were held August 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Golden officiating.
Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery with Taylor Funeral Home in charge.
A member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Mrs. Swanner was the daughter of the late Jerry and Cynthia Dunn Broadway and the wife of the late Marvin Coleman Swanner.
Survivors include one foster son, Elmer Dean Heard of Bethel; one sister, Mary Self of Fayetteville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
